from the job hunting files

in ridiculous job news today... on our superfantastic school job bank database is a position as "live out nanny" for a family that lives 10 min NW of waterloo. they are looking for someone with an "undergraduate degree in a related discipline" (what is a related discipline to babysitting? i'm pretty sure we don't offer that here). they have a 1 year old that needs taking care of during the day. also required is planning and attending outings to aid in child's socialization and skills development. you are to plan and provide nutritious meals to the child, transport the child to lessons, appointments, etc.
and be comfortable working in environment with one work-at-home parent.
the pay is $11/hour with also some reasonable reimbursement for the use of your vehicle.
they require at least a 12 month committment.

what the hell.
