why? why exactly?
at the doctor's office this morning, she was trying to convince me to switch one of the drugs i take. but apparently, 1/3 of the people taking the one she was pushing experience negative consequences bad enough to switch back. uhhh okay. also switching is no minor inconvenience and it seemed like the benefits gained from being on the new version were not really that great. i guess it's good that she informs me of my choices... but really, she's the doctor. she's supposed to be the one that filters out all the useless stuff that shouldn't concern me, right? why in my right mind would i go through the effort of switching just to have to switch back in a month or two? maybe i'm just less crazy than the rest of her patients.
