that is what i call a green study area. note the living wall off to the left, that filters the air. also, an entire ceiling of skylight means that artificial lighting doesn't have to come on till after dusk. it is quiet, with only the sounds from the ceiling fans and the gurgling of water through the living wall. the ES courtyard is my favorite place to do work on campus. sadly, it is locked on weekends and holidays. i still haven't figured out why.
